RemoteDune is a class planner operated by PackageFactory ApS. We take the privacy of students, parents and teachers seriously. This page explains what we collect, why, and how it is protected.
What we collect
School and class data entered by teachers (sessions, announcements, async work, student names). Photo uploads submitted by students or parents for specific activities. Technical data required to run the service (IP address, user agent) strictly for security and abuse prevention.
What we do not collect
We do not sell or rent data. We do not run third-party advertising trackers. We do not use student data to train AI models.
How it is protected
All traffic uses HTTPS with modern TLS. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. Sessions use signed httpOnly cookies. Each school is isolated in its own tenant so data never crosses between schools. Hosting is located in Europe. Access to production systems is limited to named engineers and logged.
Your rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, export or delete your data. Schools remain the data controller for their own data; we act as the processor. To exercise these rights, or to request a data processing agreement (DPA), contact info@packagefactory.dk.
Retention
Data is retained for as long as the school remains active. On written request we delete all school data within 30 days. Backups are purged within 90 days thereafter.
